POSITION: Long Term Substitute to cover Maternity Leave

 

STATUS: Part-time, average 35 hours per week

 

GRADE LEVEL: Special Education for Young Five - 5th grade

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• 60 college credit hours of grade C or higher
• Past teaching or substitute teaching experience

DESCRIPTION:

• This position requires assuming the responsibility of a full-time elementary special education teacher for the first semester of the 2025/2026 school year
• Preferred applicants are those who have experience with special needs students.
• This position requires:
  • Following and writing Individualized Education Plans
  • Completing student progress notes
  • Attending Special Education meetings
  • Scheduling and attending Team Meetings (first Friday of the month during school hours)
  • Scheduling and attending Student Assistant Team Meetings (third Wednesday of the month)
  • Managing Student Assistant Team Folders
